Special Baby Loss Remembrance and Support Service in Malmesbury

Oct 15, 2024

We would like to share that Saying Goodbye, part of the Mariposa Trust, will be hosting a very special Baby Loss Remembrance and Support Service at Malmesbury Abbey on 9th November at 4:00pm. This event is part of a series of services held across the UK and Ireland, dedicated to supporting those who have experienced the loss of a baby at any stage of pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy.

Founded in 2012 by Zoe and Andy Clark-Coates, the Mariposa Trust aims to provide comprehensive support to the 258,000 families in the UK who experience baby loss each year. Over the past 12 years, more than 200 Saying Goodbye services have been held in Cathedrals and Minsters across the UK, US, and France. This year, 25 services will take place in England, Wales, Ireland, France, and the US.

The service at Malmesbury Abbey is open to anyone who has been affected by baby loss, whether the loss was recent or many years ago. It is also extended to those grieving the fact that they haven’t had children due to various circumstances. Families, including babies and children, are warmly invited to attend this family-oriented event.

For more information about the charity and its services, please visit the Saying Goodbye website.
