We are very proud of the service that we provide for the children and families at Little Hayes and Speedwell Nursery Schools, however it means far more when it comes from parents and carers, or the children themselves.
The staff are enthusiastic about making the days engaging for the children, particularly my son’s keyworker. She takes such genuine interest in the children as individuals, quick to highlight any concerns and nurture any interests. I can’t fault the care they all give in Wrens Room, even down to the reception staff making the children feel special first thing in the morning and how well the site is maintained and looked after.
What we value most about the nursery is how caring and supportive all the staff are with the children. They really take the time to connect with each child, which helps them feel safe and comfortable while they are at nursery. From our experience with our child, she settled in very quickly because the staff made so much effort to talk to her, include her in activities, and help her feel part of the group. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the children and work hard to create a welcoming environment.
What we value most is the staff! Thank you for everything you do for our kids! It is amazing to see how many things they learn from you and that they come home saying ‘I love their key person’ — it’s very heartwarming knowing that they are in such good hands.
They have been so understanding and supportive and really allowed my child to be herself from day one. My child attended another setting previously and always asked not to go, since coming to Little Hayes she bounds in with a smile everyday (and asks to come on extra days!) I value how well staff know the children and how attuned they are to their needs.
The nursery provides a safe, secure, and welcoming space where my child feels comfortable and cared for. This peace of mind is invaluable. The nursery also provides an excellent opportunity for my child to interact with peers, develop social skills, and build friendships. This socialisation is crucial for my child’s growth and development.
The clean, organized, and stimulating environment, with a variety of toys, books, and learning materials, keeps my child engaged and curious.
The dedication, professionalism, and warmth of the nursery staff make a significant difference. Their expertise and genuine care for the children create a positive and supportive atmosphere.
The best part is my child loves going to Little Hayes and spending her days there. If she could, she would go on weekends as well. 🙂
You’re all doing a Great Job and my child loves you all. He’s happy and expresses all the activities and learning he’s done. I can’t say thank you enough for all the support you have given us.
The amazing staff have helped my child so much through her time at nursery. She’s a shy girl around new people and new environments, etc, and certain things can be hard for her to deal with; however, they have helped her grow so much, so I really appreciate all they do.
She is absolutely thriving now!
I value the relationships the staff build with the children and quickly. I love how I see them hugging the kids and genuinely enjoying what they do, and they seem to really understand each child’s personality. The room always seems calm and happy no matter what time you walk in. And it looks like they all have fun with a wide range of activities. I like how all the staff say hello to my child when he walks in and how the children follow that example. Reception staff give an amazing welcome everyday.
Little Hayes Nursery is the best nursery we could ever ask for. Our Daughter is very happy there and always happy to go in. It has an amazing classroom and also a large garden with multiple things to explore.
What I value most is the bond the key workers have with my daughter. Rapport was built instantly, and she settled in well because of this.

My child learned to be independent and trusting in the people who have to take care of him.
They have brought her confidence out and got her interacting with other children after lockdown and was only used to being around me.
I value the hard work by all members of staff and the personal touch they had to all aspects. I am really lucky to have my child in this nursery, which I also attended when I was little.
