Wrens went out and about to explore our local area with a trip to Meadow Vale Park. It was a cold but sunny day, so we had to wrap up warm in coats, hats, and gloves, and we wore wellies in case it was muddy. Then off we went. Everyone held hands with a grown-up to help them stay safe until we were inside the play area and free to explore.
We used all the physical skills which we practice in the nursery garden to climb, swing, slide and balance on all the different play equipment there. We stayed as long as we could but then we had to return to nursery for our lunch. We had a fabulous time and can’t wait for another chance to go.
