The team from Travelling Light Theatre Group came to Speedwell for the morning recently. We joined them in a circle to copy some sequences of movements- and then it was time to explore.
They bought lots of different materials for the children to investigate and use in whichever way they wanted to. Some children experimented with mark making on corrugated card, others used tiny pieces of foam to make their own patterns and arrangements.
Lots of children loved the large foam block, which was great for standing or lying on, and very exciting to jump off of. It was a joyful session and we are looking forward to working with Mike and the team more in the coming year.
