We had a fascinating trip out of nursery to visit some goats that are living on a local playing field.
Everyone held hands and listened carefully to the adults, especially when crossing the road. When we got there, we learned that the goats’ names are Florence and Felix.
Felix was quite shy, but Florence came to the fence to investigate her visitors. There was a lady there feeding the goats, and the children were able to gently offer them some of the leaves they really like.
Then it was time to walk back to nursery and tell everyone else all about it.
