The Department for Education is inviting parents and carers of children aged 9 months to 4 years old to take part in important research about childcare experiences.
If you are using formal childcare such as nursery or pre-school, or are considering using it, the Department for Education would like to hear from you. You don’t need to be receiving government support currently to take part in this research.
You’ll take part in an hour-long conversation about your experience of childcare, including getting help from the government with childcare costs. The session can take place online via Microsoft Teams call, by phone, or in person, depending on what works best for you.
Sessions will be arranged between November 2025 and January 2026 at a date and time that suits you.
Participants will receive £50 to thank them for taking part in the research.
