Rainbows is a welcoming stay and play group for pre-school children who have additional needs, who are neurodivergent or disabled, and their families. The group celebrates strengths, interests and differences in a supportive environment.
Sessions provide opportunities for parents and carers to meet others, whilst children socialise and explore with a variety of resources. Experienced practitioners play alongside families and can discuss children’s development, provide activity ideas and signpost to other services. They can also offer guidance on Disability Living Allowance and charity grant applications.
The groups run at six locations across Bristol. Families can arrive and leave at any time during the two-hour session. Siblings up to age 8 are welcome during school holidays.
