Welcome
Welcome to Little Hayes and Speedwell Nursery Schools. We are two of twelve local authority maintained nursery schools in Bristol offering high quality early years education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
In 2018, Little Hayes Nursery and Speedwell Nursery School federated to form the Little Hayes and Speedwell Nursery Schools Federation. Together we have a strong shared ethos and believe that we provide a learning community where children, families and staff learn with and from each other in a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration. We are all ‘learning and growing together’.
We believe children should be excited to come to nursery, stimulated and challenged and begin to develop a life-long love of learning. We are passionate about continuing to provide outstanding learning opportunities for our children and for our families to feel welcomed, supported and included in their child’s education.
Each setting is supported by an amazing, dedicated and experienced team who are passionate about giving children the very best start in life.
I am satisfied with the quality of care given to my son. The teaching and learning experience has marked a u-turn in his life, he’s more attentive and interested in learning.
Laila still loves attending nursery. I am very happy with the way nursery are supporting her with gaining confidence.
