Nursery Class Early Years Practitioner BG8

16.75 hours per week
Wed 12:15pm to 4.30pm, Thur, Fri 8:15am to 3:30pm
Between £13.92- £14.91 per hour plus pay award pending
Permeant contract Term time only

We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner who:

  • Is committed to building warm, respectful key person relationships with 3 and 4 year olds and their families
  • Can scaffold children’s learning and lead learning in their key group
  • Can create and maintain an inspiring learning environment
  • Has excellent spoken and written communication skills and can work positively in a team
  • Is observant to all children’s attempts to communicate and can foster their skills to express themselves.
  • Can work with the team to ensure all children’s safety in our busy nursery environment
  • Have experience of or are committed to learn to work with children with additional needs

Speedwell Nursery School is a learning community where children, families and staff learn with and from each other in a spirit of mutual respect. We have a fabulous outside learning environment and dedicated indoor spaces for our two, three and four year olds. This year we are entering an exciting new phase in our development and we are looking to recruit new team members to build on our long tradition of high quality nursery education.
