We’ve had a really busy term in Wren Class. We have been learning all about using our bodies to move in lots of different ways- big and small. We’ve developed our gross motor skills outside by building and using an obstacle course. We had to concentrate really hard to balance along the bridges we made.
Inside we’ve been really interested in Superheroes and practiced flying and jumping like a superhero. We have been making our hand muscles stronger in lots of different ways, from using the tongs in the home corner to mark making in a tray of shaving foam. We were lucky to welcome Ellie to our circle time.
We sang lots of new songs and played some new music and movement games. She also taught us about some musical instruments and demonstrated playing the flute.
